| Irish Beat Norwood! Green Isle came away with an 8-3 win over the Norwood Indians on Sunday afternoon at Irish Yard. John Schaffler threw four shutout innings to get the win. Mac Zachow went the next three innings and gave up two runs. Mark Foley gave up one run over the final two innings. The Irish host New Germany in a Crow River Valley League game on Wednesday night at 7:30pm. On Saturday, Brookings and Dassel-Cokato visit Green Isle for a three team triangular. Saturday games will be 7 innings. On Sunday, the Irish welcome Carver for a 2:00 start in Crow River Valley action. Go Irish! Do it! |
| $1 Tappers! On Saturday, the Irish will host the Brookings Cubby's and Dassel-Cokato Saints starting at 1:00pm. The concession stand will be featuring $1 tap beer the entire day! The Cubby's feature former Irish stars Brian Scherschligt and Chris Brown. Come on out to Irish Yard for a full day of baseball, burgers and beer! |
