#10    Tony Nagel
Shortstop
While Tony believes that he's only played for Green Isle for 2 years he
actually began in 1990 appearing in 4 games.  After playing for LeSueur,
Skeddy returned to the Irish in 2001 to play with his nephew Troy Koester...
A lifelong Henderholian, Skeddy is considered one of the top 100 all-time
baseball players to ever come out of Henderson... not many of Tony's
teammates see eye to eye with him, it's not because he's a prick it's because
he's so damn short... was the mastermind behind a scandelous event that
occured in Green Isle after the Irish clinched a spot in the 2002 state
tournament... has been a solid contributor for Green Isle defensively, mostly
at shortstop and has hit over .300 in each of his last 2 seasons... has
developed into a big fan favorite, especially with the ladies and specifically
with the bartendresses... always seems excited to be at the ballpark, except
for those early afternoon Sunday games... a master at most every bar sport
there is including; bubble hockey, bar shuffleboard and probably darts too(I
wonder where he spends most of his time?)... Skeddy has been a great
addition to the Irish and we look forward to many more years of service...
